22.5" Grate, fully utilized
I had guests over, so I made a bit of everything. The coals are under the griddle and the potatoes right next to them on the bottom grate. Onions and brats on the griddle, bunch of wings closer to the fire, cream-cheese, bacon, onion stuffed green peppers and corn(soaked for an hour, husk half removed) The egg-plants are for the egg-plant salad. Enjoy!

Youtube: Cast Iron Grate 6ft drop
17/06/09 16:33 Filed in: CIG
Many people wonder why our grate is more expensive than others. You can get some cast iron grates for gas-grills for around 15 USD.

Reason number one is that the outer ring is made of highly ductile cast iron. You can drop it from 6 feet and it wont break. Here the youtube video:

The quarters are about the size and weight of a gas-grill cast iron grate. Multiply 15 USD by 4 and add the patented outer ring and you got a 80USD+ value.
We still offer our fathers day discount of 10USD, so order yours now.

Basic Grill Setup
Coals on both sides, potatoes under the grate and a (dirty) griddle. I usually use very lumpy charcoal, it still looks like the tree it came from, they light up fast, and get hot fast, but I got to lift up a quarter once in a while to add or otherwise mess around with the coals.
